An attorney/mediator with more than 20 years of experience, Ian Grodman specializes in the immigration needs corporations and international investors, families, and US parents adopting internationally on their immigration needs.
Ian has been qualified as a Mediator by the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts, pursuant to Rule 1:40, and regularly receives referrals of cases from the New Jersey Superior Court for mediation. He has been honored to be a mediator in the New Jersey Storm Sandy Mediation Project, created by the State of New Jersey, and administered by the American Arbitration Association. Ian works to resolve conflict within families and businesses, and serves as a Mediator in the Maplewood, New Jersey Municipal Court. Ian serves as an arbitrator for The Jansen Group as well as serving as a Commissioner on the Essex County, New Jersey Board of Taxation.
A community leader, Ian has served as an elected official in his hometown, as well as on a number of non-profit boards. He is an impassioned advocate on behalf of young people and children. Most recently, Ian has been working with the foundation started by former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, to expand the foundation’s work in the United States, providing opportunities for education, leadership training, and job training in Latin American communities.
